Sir Peter Ted Squire was a British Royal Air Force officer who served as an Air Chief Marshal and was the Commander of RAF Strike Command between 1999 and 2000. He later held the position of Chief of the Air Staff from 2000 to 2003. After his military retirement, he became involved with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as Vice-Chairman from 2005 to 2008 and served as Chairman of the Imperial War Museum's board from 2006 to 2011. He was born on October 7, 1945, and passed away on February 19, 2018.
