Peter Raymond Warner (1931–2021) was an Australian seafarer and ship's captain renowned for rescuing six Tongan boys marooned on ʻAta island in 1966, a year after their disappearance. Warner had a successful yachting career, winning the Sydney to Hobart race three times. He later lived in Tonga for 30 years, contributing to the community and founding a Baháʼí school. His later endeavors included horticulture and nut farming. Warner authored three autobiographical works and tragically drowned at sea in 2021 while attempting to cross the Ballina Bar.
