Peter Zlatnar (1914 - February 7, 1987) was a prominent Yugoslav Esperantist. He learned Esperanto in 1933 and held significant roles in the Esperanto community, serving as a delegate for UEA and leading the Slovenian Esperanto League as well as the Yugoslav Esperanto Federation from 1954 to 1960. He contributed to the editing of the journals 'La suda stelo' and 'Jugoslavia esperantisto' and published books on Yugoslavia and its peoples and on Esperanto in schools. Zlatnar was also part of UEA's committee, making notable strides in education-related initiatives.
