Peter Zupanc is a Slovenian writer born on September 25, 1968, in Celje. He completed a three-year program in mechanical engineering and subsequently worked as a knitter in a hosiery factory in Polzela. After seven years, he left the factory to work sporadically in archaeological excavations, as a purchaser, and occasionally wrote for local newspapers. He co-wrote a film about Father Stanislav Škrabec and was a freelance collaborator for Nova tednik.
