Petr Grigorievich Zenkin was a notable Soviet football player and coach, born in 1912 in the settlement of Rettov, Meskheu region. He played as a midfielder for the CDKA team from 1930 to 1946 and achieved recognition as a silver medalist in the Soviet Championship (1938) and a winner of the Soviet Cup (1939). Later, he served as the senior coach of the 'K' team from 1956 to 1959 and was part of the USSR Football Federation in 1965. He passed away in 1985 in Almaty.
