Petra Sharp is a former German sprinter born on April 2, 1954, in Bad Windsheim. She competed in the 60 meters at the 1978 European Indoor Athletics Championships, finishing fifth. During the European Championships in Prague, she was eliminated in the heats of the 100 meters and finished sixth with the West German 4x100 meter relay team. Sharp represented her country twelve times and was a two-time national indoor runner-up in the 60 meters in 1977 and 1978.
