He was recognized for his significant cultural contributions and critical perspective on Romania's international relations, particularly during the interwar period. Nicoșaru published articles in newspapers such as 'Ziua Politică' and 'România Noastră' but avoided radio interviews. In 1974, he was pressured to emigrate to Switzerland and continued his work until returning to Romania in 1986, where he passed away on July 15, 1989.
