Petri Timo Markus Hakala, born on February 11, 1962, in Helsinki, is a Finnish journalist. He served as the editor-in-chief for Hämeen Sanomat and Forssan Lehti from 2018 to 2019. Previously, he was the editor-in-chief of Iltalehti from 1995 to 2010 and again from December 2013 to December 2017. From September 2010 to December 2013, he worked as the editor-in-chief and publisher of Satakunnan Kansa. He has a degree in journalism from Tampere University, obtained in 1985.
