Ilkka Olavi 'Petri' Pettersson is a Finnish musician, born on December 19, 1952. He became known as the leader of the brass pop band Petri & Pettersson Brass, famous for their 1971 song 'Maalaismaisema'. Pettersson gained further popularity with his Finnish version of The Rolling Stones' 'Angie'. In 1977, he released the acclaimed album 'Nuoruus', winning the Year’s Album award from YLE's music editors. He has also worked as a music presenter for Radio Savo, starting at YLE in 1984 before his employment ended in 2005.
