Philip Adey is an English race car aerodynamics expert currently with the Nio 333 Formula E Team. He began his career at McLaren in 1990 as an engineering programmer manager and played a crucial role in securing back-to-back Formula 1 World Championships for Mika Hakkinen in 1998 and 1999. Under his contributions, McLaren also won the Constructors' Championship in 1998. After leaving McLaren, he worked with Toyota until they exited Formula 1 in 2009, and had stints at Lotus and Renault before joining Nio for the Formula E series in 2018.
