Phillip Armour is a former American football player, born on December 9, 1976. He played college football at the University of North Texas on a full scholarship beginning in January 1995. After playing four years, he signed with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent post-1999 NFL Draft. Armour faced a setback due to an injury during his initial training camp, leading to being placed on injured reserve for the entire 1999 season. He joined the Colts' active roster in 2000 but was released in April 2001 and retired in 2003.
