Philotheus, also known as Vladimir Eudakimovich Narko, was an influential Orthodox priest and hierarch of the Belarusian Orthodox Church in the 20th century. Born in 1905 in the Vitebsk Region, he became an active participant in the Belarusian Christian movement. In 1946, he became a hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, serving as the Archbishop of Berlin and Germany until his death in Hamburg on September 24, 1986. He played a significant role in promoting Orthodox Christianity among the Belarusian community.
