Kerstin Maria Pia Olby, born on January 28, 1956, in Strängnäs, is a Swedish singer and singing teacher. She graduated from the Stockholm Institute of Music Pedagogy in 1980 and has since been active as a jazz singing teacher and theater singing teacher. She became a singing actress at Riksteatern in 1979 and has worked as a freelance jazz singer. Olby has participated in radio programs and has received the Jan Johansson Scholarship in 1991. She is also a senior lecturer in musical expression at Örebro University and Stockholm Drama School.
