Pierre Lacocque is an acclaimed American blues harmonica player known for his influence from the post-WWII Chicago blues tradition. He emerged on the Chicago blues scene in the late 1980s and co-founded the band Mississippi Heat in 1991, where he serves as the leader, harmonica player, and primary composer. The band is notable for its slogan 'Traditional Blues with a Unique Sound.' Lacocque has released multiple recordings with the group, including 'Fire In My Soul' in fall 2020.
