Pierrette Prat i Galindo was a Spanish nun born on February 28, 1927, in Talteüll. At the age of 30, disturbed by her father's militant secularism, she escaped to join the Monastery of Pedralbes in 1957, where she lived until her death in 2014. She served as the federal president of the Clarisse convents in Catalonia from 1957 to 1987 and was the abbess of the Monastery of Pedralbes from 1987 to 2007. Prat i Galindo worked to implement the Vatican II Council's conclusions and was committed to preserving the monastery's culture and identity.
