Piet Reynders is a children's book writer, screenwriter, and freelance journalist from Belgium. In his youth, he wrote around 200 short stories published in major youth magazines, with many translated into other languages. His notable works include 'Snoetje,' which won the Lod Lavki prize in 1955, and several successful Flemish films and youth novels that have undergone multiple editions. Reynders also has numerous televised adaptations and has contributed to historical series. He is a member of the Club van Vlaamse Explorators and has written plays and thrillers, earning international acclaim.
