Pilar Godayol i Nogué is a Catalan writer, essayist, sworn translator, and university professor born in Manlleu, Osona on June 2, 1968. She holds a degree in English Philology and a doctorate in Translation and Interpretation. Since 1993, she has been teaching at the Universitat de Vic, where she co-founded the Centre d'Estudis Interdisciplinaris de Gènere and coordinates a research group on gender studies. Her works include biographical genres and she has published extensively on feminist historiography, literary translation, and the reception of female authors.
