Piotr Karpeta, born on May 24, 1959, in Katowice, is a renowned Polish choir conductor and singer. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice in 1983 and later became an assistant at the institution. Karpeta directed various choirs, including the Opole Philharmonic Choir and the Wrocław Cameralists, with whom he performed extensively and contributed to many recordings, earning award nominations. He co-founded the early music ensemble Il Dolcimelo and has performed in over 20 countries worldwide.
