Peter 'Pit' Witt is a German jazz musician born on March 19, 1959, in Münster. He studied classical piano and jazz in the Netherlands. Witt has composed several stage and film music works, including children's musicals. Since 1980, he has worked as an educator and directed the Mindener Jazzchor since 1989. He has also served as Musical Director for various projects, composed children's musicals, and contributed music to films. In 2008, he began co-directing the Mindener Kinderchor with Regina Heese.
