Piyadasa Ranasinghe (1946–1989) was a Sri Lankan political activist and member of the JVP party. Known by names such as Dibba and Sudu Mama, he served as the organising secretary from 1970 until his death. He was a prominent figure among political activists in Sri Lanka during this period, and his activities were linked to the anti-establishment sentiment within the country. Sadly, his political journey ended violently when he was killed by army forces, highlighting the tumultuous political climate of the era.
