Plamena Petrova, known simply as Plamena, is a Bulgarian pop-folk and pop singer born on March 28, 1989, in Gorna Oryahovitsa. She studied in Veliko Tarnovo and graduated from Sofia University with a degree in Music Pedagogy specializing in pop and jazz singing. In 2008, she participated in the second season of 'Music Idol' and competed in the Bulgarian selection for Eurovision 2011 with the song 'Bez tebe'. In 2011, she posed for 'Playboy' and worked with the music publisher 'Painer' until 2014.
