Pleas E. Jones was an American lawyer and jurist from Kentucky, serving as a circuit judge and later as an associate justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals. Born on December 23, 1912, in Whitley County, he initially worked as a schoolteacher before joining the U.S. Army during World War II. After obtaining his law degree, he held positions including county judge and Commonwealth's attorney. Appointed to the Court of Appeals in 1973, he continued serving until his retirement in 1979, passing away on September 20, 1986.
