He graduated in Literary Studies from the University of Barcelona and pursued a master's in Literary Creation at Pompeu Fabra University. He also trained at the Ateneu Barcelonès Writing School. Castellanos balances his writing career with teaching. His debut novel, 'L'impostor de Viena,' received the 2020 Alba Prize for the best fantastic novel for young audiences in Catalan. In 2021, he won the Ramon Muntaner Prize for his novel 'L'assassina de Venècia,' selected for White Ravens in 2022.
