Poncho Zuleta, born Tomás Alfonso Zuleta Díaz on January 18, 1951, is a Colombian singer and musician known for his vallenato music style. Often referred to as 'El pulmón de oro' or 'The golden lung' for his remarkable vocal abilities, he has also been dubbed 'Garganta de lata' by the renowned author Gabriel García Márquez. Along with his brother Emiliano Zuleta Díaz, together they form the duo Los Hermanos Zuleta. Their contributions to music have earned them recognition, including a Latin Grammy Award in 2006.
