Ponhele Andrew Mbidi ya France was a Namibian politician and trade unionist, born on January 8, 1948, in Epuku, Ohangwena Region. He was a longtime member of the SWAPO party and served in the National Assembly of Namibia from 2000 to 2005. In addition to his legislative role, ya France was also the head of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation from 2005 until 2008. He passed away on February 8, 2010.
