Prabhat Sarma (July 7, 1935 - March 2, 2021) was an Indian musician, flutist, and folk music practitioner. He served as a staff artist in the Assam Government Information and Public Relations Department from the 1960s until the late 1990s. He joined All India Radio, Guwahati in 1973 and retired in 1998. He founded a musical group called 'Panchajanya Shankhadhwani', later renamed 'Devagandhar', and worked as a music director for several Assamese films. Sarma was recognized for his contributions to Assamese folk music with awards from the Assam Government and the Sangeet Natak Akademi.
