Prahlad Kakkar is an Indian ad film director, born on 24 March 1950 in Mumbai. He is renowned for his Pepsi TV commercial featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Sachin Tendulkar and is the founder of Genesis Film Productions since 1977. In 1995, he established Lacadives, a scuba diving school in collaboration with the Govt. of Lakshadweep. Besides his film career, he runs a coffee shop and a wine bar & restaurant in Mumbai. In 2016, he started a School of Branding and Entrepreneurship in association with Whistling Woods International.
