Prasad Kumar Harichandan, born on May 12, 1964, is an Oriya politician and former president of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee. He has served as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly in the Eleventh, Twelfth, and Fourteenth terms. Notably, he became the youngest Minister of State in 1999, overseeing Home, Science, Technology, and Culture departments. From 2009 to 2014, he was the Chief Whip of the Congress Legislature Party during the 14th Assembly.
