Prasanna Kumar Mishra (March 18, 1941 - February 13, 2014) was a prominent educator and writer in Odia literature. He composed poetry, novels, plays, and children's literature throughout his life, producing nearly 70 volumes of work. Beginning his teaching career at the Government College in Bolangir, he later worked at several institutions including Samanata Chandrasekhar College in Puri, Dhenkanal Government College, Rourkela Government College, and Fakir Mohan College in Balasore, before retiring as an Odia professor from Dhenkanal.
