Prashanth Sellathurai is an Australian gymnast born on October 1, 1986, of Sri Lankan Tamil heritage. He was part of the Australian team that achieved a historic gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, where he excelled in the rings and won the pommel horse event. Sellathurai is a three-time World Championship medallist with two bronzes and one silver. Besides gymnastics, he earned his medical degree from the University of Buckingham in 2019 and now volunteers at Milton Keynes Gymnastics in England.
