Leo Henry, known as 'Preacher', was an American pitcher in the Negro leagues during the 1930s and 1940s. He debuted in 1937 with the Jacksonville Red Caps and played six seasons for the team as it transitioned from Jacksonville to Cleveland and back. Henry was a notable player, selected for the 1941 East-West All-Star Game. After serving in the US Army during World War II, he concluded his baseball career with the Indianapolis Clowns from 1946 to 1948. He passed away in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1992 at age 81.
