Alexander, Prince of Saxony, born on February 12, 1953, is a German nobleman and businessman, known as Alexander Afif. He is the nephew, adopted son, and heir of Maria Emanuel, Margrave of Meissen. After Maria Emanuel's death in July 2012, Alexander claimed headship of the Royal House of Saxony due to a 1997 agreement, though this claim is contested by his cousin, Prince Daniel of Saxony, following a repudiation by some signatories a few years later.
