Francisco Humberto, born on December 9, 1956, in Petrópolis, is a Brazilian prince and descendant of the Brazilian imperial family. He is a great-grandson of Pedro II, the last emperor of Brazil, and son of Pedro Gastón, who sought to reclaim his rights to the defunct Brazilian throne. His paternal grandfather was the son of Princess Isabel, and his maternal grandparents belonged to the Spanish royal family, with his mother being an aunt of King Juan Carlos of Spain.
