Born on December 15, 1929, she graduated from the University of Cambridge and became a lecturer in English literature at Cairo University. Her marriage to King Hussein lasted from 1955 to 1957. In 1970, she married a senior official in the Palestine Liberation Organization. She passed away on August 21, 2019, leaving behind a legacy of education and royal duty.
