Ada Priscilla Nzimiro (30 April 1923 – 22 March 1951) was a pioneering trained medical doctor from Igboland. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1950 with her MB ChB, making history as the first woman from Igboland to achieve this distinction. Nzimiro's life was tragically cut short as she died a year after her graduation under circumstances described as unnatural. Her contributions to medicine and her role as a trailblazer for women in the profession remain significant.
