Pushpalata Das (1915–2003) was an Indian freedom fighter, Gandhian, social reformer, and political leader. She served as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from 1951 to 1961 and was a former MLA in Assam as well as a member of the executive committee of the Indian National Congress. Additionally, she held the position of chairperson for the Assam branch of the Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust and the Khadi and Village Industries Commission. In recognition of her contributions, the Government of India awarded her the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian honor, in 1999.
