חניתה הלוי, born on April 2, 1938, is an Israeli screenwriter, journalist, author, and poet. She has worked as a writer and editor for various newspapers. Additionally, she is responsible for clinics at the Ministry of Defense's rehabilitation department. She is a member of the Israeli Periodical Press Association and the Academy of Cinema and Television. Halevi has published nonfiction books and anthologies, with her poems translated into English. Some of her poems were set to music, and her poem 'When I Grow Up' was adapted into a short film.
