Vasyl Petrovych Polonik was a Ukrainian sculptor born on February 13, 1930, in Pryvillya. He became a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine in 1958. His contributions to sculpture were significant, and he is recognized for his artistic work in Ukraine. He was the father of fellow sculptor Andriy Polonik. Polonik passed away in 1995.
