Abakar Hacıyev (April 11, 1979 – October 27, 2020) was a lieutenant colonel in the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He is known as a martyr of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War. Born in the Zaqatala District, he sacrificed his life for his country in the conflict which reignited in 2020, highlighting his commitment and service to Azerbaijan.
