Zahran Khalil Saleh Abu Qubaita, also known as Abu Nidal, was a Palestinian politician and parliamentarian born on August 1, 1948, in Yatta. He served as a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council from 1996 to 2006. Abu Qubaita ran as an independent candidate in the 1996 Palestinian general elections in the Hebron Governorate, receiving 15,841 votes. He passed away on January 4, 2020, in Yatta.
