Yasser Sheban (b. April 4, 1969, Cairo) is an Egyptian writer and translator. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Ain Shams University. His works have been published in various Arab newspapers and magazines. Sheban is the supervisor of the translation section at Al-Hilal magazine and the president of the Nwafidh for Translation and Dialogue Association. He is part of the 'Generation of the 90s' literary movement and has written poetry and novels, contributing significantly to contemporary Arabic literature.
