Boris Fedorovich Semyonov (1929–2010) was a Soviet scientist and educator, recognized as a virologist and immunologist. He held the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences and was a professor. In 1991, he became a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences and was an elected full member in 1984. Semyonov was awarded the USSR Council of Ministers Prize in 1981 and the Government Prize of the Russian Federation in Science and Technology in 2005. He was also honored as an Honored Scientist of the RSFSR in 1981.
