Vasily Ivanovich Murashov (April 12, 1904 – November 1, 1959) was a Soviet scientist and professor, known for his contributions to the strength and rigidity of reinforced concrete structures. He held a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree from 1941 and became a professor in 1947. He was awarded the State Prize of the USSR in 1951 and was a full member of the Academy of Construction and Architecture of the USSR. His work led to the development of a theory on the rigidity of reinforced concrete.
