Gennady Petrovich Alexandrov (March 20, 1928 - May 1, 1993) was a military engineer and a laureate of the State Prize of the USSR in 1980. He was born in Leningrad and graduated from the military training course at the Technical Institute named after Molotov in 1953. Alexandrov worked in various capacities in missile arsenals, served as a senior officer in the Reactive Armament Control, and headed departments in the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. He passed away in Moscow and was buried at Troekurovsky Cemetery.
