Boris Vasilyevich Burmistrov (born August 8, 1946, in Kemerovo, Kemerovo Oblast) is a Soviet and Russian poet and publicist. He is a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, serving as the secretary of its board and as the chairman of the Union of Writers of Kuzbass since 1982. Burmistrov is a recipient of various literary awards, including the V.D. Fedorov Literary Prize in 1995, the All-Russian Orthodox Literary Prize named after Alexander Nevsky in 2005, and the Big Literary Prize of Russia for his poetry collection 'Through the Twilight of Time' in 2011.
