Biljana Popović, born on January 10, 1956, in Niš, is a Serbian violin maker. She is the first and currently the only female violin maker in Serbia and among the few women in this field worldwide. Together with her husband Jovan Popović, she founded the organization 'Savremeni Violinari' to educate young musicians through interactive workshops on violin making and instrument maintenance. Her violins are played by students in various locations, including Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Switzerland, and Austria.
