Ledi Gachechiladze (born January 6, 1933, Tbilisi) is a Georgian scientist, pathologist, and candidate of medical sciences. She graduated from the Sanitary-Hygienic Faculty of the Tbilisi State Medical Institute in 1957. Gachechiladze worked at the Research Institute of Tuberculosis from 1958 to 1960 and at the Institute of Experimental Morphology from 1960 to 1968. She contributed to the Medical University's problem laboratory from 1968 to 1996 and returned to the Institute of Experimental Morphology in 1996. She has authored 91 scientific works, including her dissertation on histochemical properties of glands.
