Alexander Gzmurishvili (February 8, 1902 - September 14, 1972) was a Georgian scientist, surgeon, urologist, and Doctor of Medical Sciences. He graduated from Tbilisi State University in 1928 and later directed the urology department of the Central Clinical Hospital. He introduced electrophysiological methods in urology, utilized isotopes to study kidney function, and refined various urological surgical procedures. His research focused on kidney stone disease, tuberculosis of the urinary tract, kidney transplantation, and other related issues.
