سیدہ شیدہ بیگم، المعروف رشیدہ عیاں, born on March 4, 1932, in Moradabad, British India, was a prominent Urdu poet from Pakistan. She began her poetic journey in 1943 and moved to Karachi after the partition. She completed her education at Punjab University and the University of Karachi, obtaining an MA degree. In 1975, she moved to the USA. Amongst her notable works are collections of poetry like 'Harf Harf Aaina' (1985) and 'Abhi Parwaz Jari Hai' (2001). She received multiple awards for her contributions to Urdu literature.
