He was born in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, British India, and gained fame under the name Saqib Muzaffarpuri. He earned an MA and LLB degrees and was involved in the legal profession. His poetry collections include 'Ik Zakhm Hara Hara' (1989), 'Jalte Khaime' (1986), and other works like 'Karab-e-Aagahi' and a review of Urdu elegies. He passed away on September 1, 2001, in Karachi, Pakistan.
